Exhibit Off and Running!

After months of preparation and the expert work of staff at the Seattle Museum of Flight and the University of Washington’s Burke Museum, the exhibit How Birds Fly was officially opened to the public late on Friday afternoon. On Saturday (April 11), I gave an overview lecture at the Museum which included some spectacular flights of tiny ornithopters by designer and pilot Ben Pipenberg from AeroVironment. You are invited to visit the exhibit during its 5-month run at the museum.  Read an overview of the exhibit here.
